Many groups around the world are trying to figure out a way to preserve land for the future generations.
Green Sold Land Trust, is an example of one. Originally from Ireland, this group aims to conserve and preserve Irish lands.
Stimulating the local community to debate and encouraging voluntary participation are included in their activities. The public can join the group as a volunteer or as a regular member which recquires a small membership fee. The money collected by this group will be used to buy and manage land for natural preservation.
An example of preserved land is Red Bog, Co. Carlow, which is already protected. The land (over 5 acres) was given as a donation for the group by a retired teacher by the name of David Rowe.

"There is nothing generous about what I am doing. I am only looking after the land I was lucky enough to have. It was here before me and will, now, be here after me. It makes me happy to know that it will be protected and cared for forever."

Green Sold Land Trust, accept donations from 20 euro which help them to save 10 m² or 200 euro which help them to save 100m².
It's important to preserve our lands to avoid over industrialization and be destruction of our natural landscape.
